“Rosie” is an eight year old, 16.1 hand, registered Irish Draught mare with an impressive pedigree that includes the popular Snowford line. She has been professionally started in the hunt field, is a brave and easy to ride to the jumps, has couch-like, comfortable gaits and lovely ground manners. Rosie was awarded her bronze status at the Registered Irish Draught inspection this fall–the highest standing in the registry that a mare can achieve! Rosie is definitely a “push” ride and will be a wonderful confidence booster for anyone. She will lead or follow on the trail, crosses water, and is not spooky or silly. Rosie did very well at a hunter schooling show, probably because every jump is exactly the same—no surprises and no funny business. She is easy to load and travels quietly and can be stalled or turned out. No history of injury, colic, vision or allergy problems, although she has a low-grade (level 1 or 2) roar that does not affect her performance. Rosie is currently in a professional program and has no emotional baggage or bad habits. Rosie represents a great chance to get quality breeding, excellent training and a great personality all in one attractive package!
