TRANSPORT SERVICES WITHIN VIRGINIA AND SURROUNDING STATES
Alice offers equine transport service within Virginia and the surrounding states. Her trailer is an extra-tall, extra-wide slant load with removable dividers and a step-up entry. Most horses love it! Alice makes frequent trips to the racetrack in Charles Town, West Virginia and is usually available last minute or emergency trips. Please contact for rates and availability.
Layovers
SHENANDOAH SPORTHORSES OFFERS SHORT-TERM BOARDING FOR PEOPLE TRAVELING WITH HORSES OR SHOWING AT THE HORSE CENTER.
We have 3 roomy stalls available for overnight or short-term stays. Horses enjoy private turnout, while humans enjoy a cozy studio apartment on the same property, with breakfast (and lots of coffee!) included.
The apartment is professionally decorated, offering high-quality linens and art by local artists. Bedded stalls are $45/night, and the apartment is $125/night, with multiple horse or extended stay discounts available.

SHENANDOAH SPORTHORSES IS SITUATED ON A SMALL, PRIVATE FARM THREE MINUTES FROM THE LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA CITY LIMITS.
The Virginia Horse Center is ten minutes away, all Rockbridge Hunt fixtures are within a 15 minute radius, and the farm is convenient to Route 11, I-81 and I-64.
We currently have openings to board 1-2 horses in our roomy stalls and paddocks. Horses are cared for by Alice Bruno, the on-site owner/operator, who has twenty years of experience.
Possible opportunity to do morning chores in exchange for reduced board. Please contact with any questions!
